Introduction

The Business China Awards aim to honour outstanding individuals and organisations who demonstrate exceptional vision, leadership, and success in advancing sustained growth in Singapore-China relations across business, economic, social, and/or cultural domains.

Organised by Business China and jointly presented by OCBC, the Awards comprise three categories:

  1. Business China Excellence Award
  2. Business China Enterprise Award
  3. Business China Young Achiever Award

The silver and red waves symbolise the long-lasting friendship between Singapore and China continually advancing towards greater heights.

The dynamic waves also represent the multifaceted platforms connecting business leaders, entrepreneurs, professionals, and organisations from both countries.

These platforms cultivate a vital reservoir of mutual understanding and deep engagement, energising and strengthening ties between the two countries across all levels and sectors.

Business China Young Achiever Award

This award recognises an outstanding youth who best demonstrates exceptional vision, leadership and success in the development and promotion of sustained growth in the bilateral relationship between Singapore and China across business, economic, social and/or cultural domains.

The Candidate must also demonstrate skills and qualities that are inspiring and motivational to youths.

Eligibility

✔ Should be a resident of Singapore or China.

✔ Involved in a business enterprise, government body, non-profit organisation or profession in Singapore or China.

✔ Must be at or below the age of 45.

✔ No restriction on gender, age and race.

The nominees for the Business China Young Achiever Award are assessed in the following key areas:

  1. Made significant contributions and positive impact on the bilateral relationship between Singapore and China.

  2. Provided exceptional services and/or contributions in business, economic, social and/or cultural areas which align with the national interests of Singapore and China.

  3. Should be an inspiring and motivational role model to youths in the learning and appreciation of the Chinese language and culture.

  4. Demonstrated a strong culture of innovation and pursuit for excellence in Singapore and/or China.
